Systems Engineer - August 2008

One of Northeastern Wisconsin's IT Consulting Firms is looking to add an experienced systems engineer to our staff.
- Technical Experience Recommended
- Minimum 3 years experience providing multi-platform support
- Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server with a solid understanding of Active Directory administration
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2000/2003
- Windows Terminal Services Administration
- Novell NetWare 5.x - 6.x Experience
- Novell GroupWise 6.x - 7.x Experience
- Computer Associates ArcServe experience on multiple platforms
- Router and switch setup and maintenance, especially Cisco and HP equipment
- Hardware troubleshooting, repair and replacement skills
- Understanding of network and desktop security principles
- Basic understanding of network protocols, especially TCP/IP and IPX
- Connectivity support of various systems including Unix, Linux, AS/400 and IBM Mainframe systems
- Personal Skills Required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with people at all organizational levels
- History of building strong client relationships
- Ability to work alone or with a team
- Strong ability to self teach skills required on the spot; You must learn quickly and under pressure
